Abstract

Nutritional status is one of the factors that can affect learning achievement in addition to other factors, such as family factors, environment, motivation, and facilities and infrastructure obtained at school. A component of human development that is directly linked to growth, intelligence, and skill is nutritional fulfillment. Finding out how much the people in Helvetia District knew about their nutritional status was the aim of this study. This study employed a quantitative methodology using an analytical descriptive technique to give a general picture of the local community's eating patterns as a basis for determining nutritional status. The study's sample consisted of fifty local residents in the Helvetia District, ranging in age from 14 to 55. The results showed that people with malnutrition benefited from agreeing to eat a variety of healthy and balanced foods (86%). A counter-argument to this is that not all diets of people with malnutrition are balanced and nutritious, as stated in (4%). 96% of respondents said protein is a source of energy.Carbohydrate is one of the macronutrients (96%). 96% of people believe that knowledge is a factor that influences their eating habits. In 98% of cases, eating habits determine one's attitude towards the recommended diet.Among the many illnesses associated with malnutrition is chronic energy deficit (CHD; 98%). The percentage of 98% indicates that food meets the body's demands as an energy source, regulator, and building block. In 98% of situations, food provides the body with building blocks, energy, and regulatory materials. The nutritional status is achieved when intake and needs are perfectly balanced. all the elements affecting a person's nutritional status at 100%. Up to 49 respondents (98%) reported that they find out about permissible and forbidden foods through media and advertising.
