Analisis Faktor Penyebab Hipertensi di Posyandu Lansia Nila Merah Kelurahan Belawan Bahari Lingkungan I

Hypertension is a condition in which blood pressure increases beyond normal limits, resulting in persistent symptoms and more severe damage to organs in the body. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between stress, smoking habits, consumption of foods containing high salt and genetic factors with the incidence of hypertension. This type of research is analytical research with a crosectional study research design, namely a type of observational study in which data is collected from a population or sample at a specific point in time. The number of samples used in this study was 50 people, of which 28 people had hypertension and 22 people who did not have hypertension. The results of this study show that stress, smoking, and consuming foods containing high salt are associated with the frequency of hypertension in people who come to the Nila Merah integrated healthcare center on Jln Krakatau, Environment 1 Belawan Bahari. providing comprehensive services to the community, including activities such as measuring blood pressure. Promotion and prevention efforts through the provision of pamphlets and posters on healthy lifestyles are steps to improve public health to avoid hypertension
